How Can I See How Many Visitors Come To My Site?
print this page
A hit counter is the common name for a bit of code on your site that has the ability to count how many times your site has been visited. They come in a variety of different styles, so usually you can find one that matches the layout of your site. Financial Visions plans to add traffic statistics in the upcoming months, but does not currently provide hit counters as part of the website. If you would rather not wait, you are free to use a third-party if you wish. We recommend putting the counter into your "disclaimer 1"

Where can I get a hit counter for my site?
You can find hit counters from a variety of sources. Two sources are Microsoft's FastCounter or www.sitemeter.com. They provide free hit counters that you can cut and paste into your website. Because they provide html code, you will need to paste these into the <html view> of the text editor not the <wysiwyg view> - call us for instructions on how to access <html view>. Until we begin offering our own service, Financial Visions cannot supply support for counters. You will need to contact the site you got your counter from for questions regarding the operation of the counter.
